For staff we deliver staff meetings, INSET training and interactive workshops. Target audiences include teachers, support and pastoral staff and lunchtime supervisors. For children, we deliver whole school assemblies and classroom lessons on how to manage and respond to their emotions.
Feedback from Staff
I have used this directly with a parent to look at her own emotions and how they impact on her children.
I have used this directly with a 1:1 child and used the hand model with parents as a tool to help explain what happens when their child 'flips their lid'.
I have used this with a group of children whose parents misuse drugs and alcohol.
I have shared this with a parent in a family to help them name it to tame it.
Good tools for working with children and families, really helpful prompts.
A much needed training day, well delivered and easy to engage with.

I have learned a lot in a small amount of time, it was very useful and the way it was done helped me to remember things well.
The training gave me confidence to ask others about themselves. Thank you very much.
I learned how to be a better listener, build rapport and work to get a positive outcome. It will be helpful to younger people and to me in the future.

The course has been helpful, understanding that it is OK to have emotions and giving tips on how to approach them and deal with it better.
Coming to the group helps us realise we are not the only ones. Very good to get it off my chest and trying to keep calmer.

Today’s session has empowered me to go back and deliver structure coaching sessions with reluctant and at times negative pupils.
Lots of useful resources to use, informative, fast paced (but not too fast!) and very interactive.
Today’s session made me appreciate the value of this approach – a great day at the end of a manic few weeks.
Its fab – it works!
A wide range of strategies that are very practical and can be adapted to use in my family support worker capacity. Thank you for a brilliant course, information and resources.
I have learnt so much from this course.
Extremely helpful. Demonstrated coaching techniques and ways to work with those needing our help and support.
I really enjoyed this training and found it fascinating.
